So, I really want Conrad to enjoy the lake and getting out on the water (i.e. water skiing). Brian knows how to ski, but I have never learned. I don't really feel that it is appropriate to tell Conrad to try something if I never have. Over the summer it was my goal to get up on skis. One weekend at the lake, I tried and tried, probably about a dozen times and never got up. Then on our next trip, I popped up the very first time...AWESOME!
Not too graceful, but, at least, I wasn't being dragged through the water.
Master skier, Brian, learned how to wake board that same weekend.
Needless to say, in our ripe old thirties, we were paying for it the next couple of days...give us a break, we're accountants.
